INFORMATION NOTICE ON THE PROTECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
As SD Energy Teknolojileri A.Ş. (“SD Energy” or the “Company”), we exercise the utmost care regarding the security of your personal data. This Information Notice has been prepared to provide information, within the scope of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), on the processing of personal data belonging to visitors of our website, customers and prospective customers who contact us, and our business partners.

3. Purposes of Processing Personal Data
Your personal data may be processed for the following purposes:
- Evaluating your requests for information, quotations, and technical support regarding our products and services,
- Managing energy storage solutions, battery systems, solar energy solutions, and other product/service processes,
- Carrying out sales, order, delivery, installation, maintenance, warranty, and after-sales support services,
- Managing customer relationship and satisfaction processes,
- Conducting communication activities and responding to your requests,
- Managing accounting, finance, invoicing, and compliance with legal obligations,
- Performing necessary controls for information security, system security, and the prevention of unlawful use,
- Conducting campaigns, announcements, promotional, and marketing communications where you have provided explicit consent,
- Protecting our rights and conducting legal processes in the event of potential disputes.
4. Method and Legal Basis for Collecting Personal Data
Your personal data may be collected verbally, in writing, or electronically through the contact and quotation forms on our website, telephone calls, email correspondence, social media accounts, sales and after-sales support channels, contracts, physical forms, and digital systems.
Your personal data is processed based on the legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK, including:
- Where processing is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract,
- Where processing is necessary for the fulfillment of our legal obligations,
- Where processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or protection of a right,
- Where processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of our Company, provided that it does not prejudice the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject,
- Where processing is expressly provided for by law.
For activities requiring explicit consent, your personal data will be processed only where your explicit consent has been obtained.
5. Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data may be transferred, for the purposes stated above and in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, to authorized public institutions and organizations; individuals and organizations from which we receive legal and financial consultancy services; our suppliers, business partners, and service providers offering information technology, hosting, software, technical service, cargo, logistics, payment, and accounting services.
Where the transfer of personal data abroad is necessary, such transfers will be carried out by ensuring the appropriate safeguards and conditions stipulated under the KVKK.
6. Retention and Security of Personal Data
SD Energy implements appropriate technical and administrative measures to prevent the unlawful processing of and access to personal data and to ensure its preservation. Your personal data is retained for the periods prescribed by applicable legislation and for as long as required by the purpose of processing. At the end of these periods, data is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized in accordance with applicable legislation.
7. Your Rights as a Data Subject
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to apply to SD Energy and:
- Learn whether your personal data is processed,
- Request information if your personal data has been processed,
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with its purpose,
- Learn the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred domestically or abroad,
- Request correction if your personal data has been processed incompletely or inaccurately,
- Request the deletion or destruction of your personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated under the KVKK,
- Request notification of correction, deletion, or destruction to third parties to whom your data has been transferred,
- Object to a result arising against you from the analysis of your processed data exclusively through automated systems,
- Request compensation for damages if you suffer damage due to the unlawful processing of your personal data.
8. Application Method
You may submit your requests within the scope of the KVKK, together with documents verifying your identity, in writing to [Company’s full address], through your registered electronic mail (KEP) address to [KEP address], or using a secure electronic signature/mobile signature to [KVKK email address].
Your applications will be finalized free of charge as soon as possible and no later than thirty days, depending on the nature of the request. If the process requires an additional cost, the fee specified in the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged to you.
